Danielle Cook, MS, LMHC-D
Danielle Cook is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC-D) with over 14 years of clinical experience. In 2021, she became the Owner and Director of CPH Mental Health Counseling (formerly The Center for Psychosexual Health). She received her dual master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Canisius College, giving her experience in both school and clinical settings. Due to her unique training, Danielle has presented on Gender Dysphoria, in addition to other specialties provided by CPH, to WNY schools, universities, agencies, and community groups. She has provided education at the state and national level as well as provided assessment material for the international WPATH conference in Amsterdam in June 2016. She is also a team member for the Disorders of Sex Development (DSD) multidisciplinary team at John R. Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo. In addition to her role as Director and therapist at CPH, Danielle is also the Executive Director for the Children’s Growth Foundation and a master's level Adjunct Professor at Canisius College. Danielle has also been named one of Business First's 40 Under 40 honorees in 2015, was the recipient of the Gay and Lesbian Youth Services (GLYS) Friendship Award in 2016, the recipient of 2020 Community Service Award from Embrace Western New York and was named one of Business First's Who's Who in Healthcare in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
